I’d shut myself off from the world
Locked the door and thrown away the key

Smile and laugh when approached but always would refrain

Delve within, so deep the darkness surrounds

Believed that what’s done is done, to let it be
What once was, never again to be found
The love, the happiness, the joy you would bring
