Tag – You’re It!: Mp3 ID Tagging Solutions

Do you have a very unorganised music library and after reading my post on creating a structured library with personalised playlists, you realised that it would be a great idea, but all of your songs are missing important information?

If you have many songs with “Track 1 – Unknown Artist” sitting there, you definitely do not want to fix all of these manually. I have done a bit of research and the two best options I have found are:

* TuneUp
* Tag&Rename

They both do the same thing, just with a different interface. TuneUp has more options and I’m going to try out TuneUp. Tag&Rename has been around for years and has been a widely used program. If anyone uses these programs, leave a comment and tell me what you think of it – the pros, the cons and which is best.

Update: I used TuneUp for a while, but found it unstable on the Mac. It would freeze, hang, and lose the internet connection very often. Until they fix this, avoid it.
